Privacy policy

Effective date: November 1, 2026

Weuse ("we") respects the privacy of people who use Hadaho ("the app"), a skin retouching app. We publish this policy under Article 30 of Korea's Personal Information Protection Act.

Hadaho retouches photos and videos only on your phone. The photos and videos you pick, and any face information, are never sent to us. There is no sign-up, no advertising, and no tracking. The app sends us only daily usage counts, such as how many photos were saved, and they carry no ID that identifies you or your device. Apart from those counts, we receive only the emails you choose to send us.

1. What we collect and how

CategoryItemsHow it's collected
Usage statisticsHow many times a day each app feature was used: photos and videos saved (counted by retouch level), items left as originals because no face was found, failed retouches or saves, retouches you stopped, comparisons with the original, app opens, times the payment screen opened (after the free retouches ran out, or from the menu), and purchases. Each day's counts come with the date, the app version, your App Store country (the country of your App Store account, not where your device is), and the device model (e.g. iPhone16,2)The app adds up each day's counts on your phone and sends them all at once when you leave the app
Email inquiriesThe address you send from, what you write, and the app version, iOS version, and device model already filled in the emailWhen you email us from your mail app, for example through Contact us in the menu

Usage statistics carry no ID that identifies you or your device. They never include photos, videos, face information, names, contact details, age, or gender. To keep a batch from being counted twice, the app attaches a random number to it. That number is new every time the app sends, has nothing to do with you or your device, and is deleted from our server after 7 days. Apart from that number, the server keeps only totals by date, app version, country, device model, and feature, with no record of any one person. Cloudflare's network receives your IP address while it passes the request along, but we don't store or view it (request logging is turned off).

Emailing us is optional. You can use every part of the app without it. Please leave out details we don't need to answer you, such as your phone number.

What we don't collect: photos, videos, face information, names, phone numbers, age, gender, account information, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, any ID that identifies you or your device, or payment information. We don't use advertising tools or third-party analytics.

What stays on your phone

While retouching, it keeps a copy of each video in the app's temporary folder and deletes it when you clear the list.

2. Why we use it

We use your email address only to reply to you.

We don't use this information for advertising, for profiling, or to track you across other companies' apps and websites. We never sell it under any circumstances.

3. How long we keep it

Usage statistics are totals that can't identify anyone, so we keep them for as long as we run the service. The random number attached to each batch is deleted after 7 days.

We keep email inquiries for 2 years from the day we receive them, then delete them. If you ask us to delete them sooner, we delete them right away.

4. Sharing with third parties

We don't share your information with third parties.

5. Processors and international transfers

ProcessorTaskRetention
Cloudflare, Inc.Receives usage statistics and stores the totals (Workers, D1)As in section 3
Google LLCReceives and stores email inquiries (Gmail)As in section 3

International transfers: We transfer personal information outside Korea as follows.

Recipient (contact)CountryItems transferred
Cloudflare, Inc. (privacyquestions@cloudflare.com)United StatesUsage statistics, and the IP address its network receives in transit (we don't store it)
Google LLC (privacy contact)United States and other countries where Google has serversEmail inquiries

Usage statistics are transferred over the network when the app sends them, and your email when you send it. The purpose and retention period are the same as in sections 2 and 3. We check that Cloudflare and Google protect personal information to the same standard as this policy. There's no setting to turn off usage statistics. If you don't want your email transferred abroad, don't email us. You can still use every part of the app.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, delete, or stop processing your personal information. Email weuse.support@gmail.com, and we'll handle your request and tell you the result within 10 days of receiving it.

Because usage statistics can't identify anyone, we can't find or delete the records of any particular person.

App settings and temporary files on your phone are deleted when you delete the app. The free retouch count and the free-for-life record are an exception. They're kept in the keychain, so they stay on your phone even after you delete the app. That way, reinstalling the app doesn't start the count over. Retouched copies saved to Photos are your own photos, so they stay even if you delete the app. You can delete them yourself in Photos.

7. How we destroy data

When the retention period ends or the purpose has been met, we destroy the personal information without delay. Electronic files are permanently deleted so they can't be recovered, and we don't keep printed copies.

8. Security measures

9. Children under 14

We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 14, and we don't offer sign-up. If a child has emailed us, a parent or guardian can let us know at weuse.support@gmail.com and we'll delete it right away.

10. Privacy officer

Please send questions, complaints, or requests for remedy about how we handle personal information to the contact above. We'll reply without delay.

11. Where to report a privacy violation

12. For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you're covered by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the equivalent laws of the UK or Switzerland, the following also applies.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we post what changed and the effective date on this page.
