Effective date: July 25, 2026
Yarr ("the App", "we") is made by weuse, a sole proprietorship in the Republic of Korea. Short version: your photos, videos, and sounds stay on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking.
What stays on your device
- Camera and Microphone are used only to capture photos, record videos, and record custom shutter sounds. Nothing is uploaded.
- Photo Library is used only to save what you capture and, when you choose, to import a picture for a sticker. We do not scan or upload your library.
- Face detection for sticker placement runs entirely on your device. It only works out where a face sits in the frame so a sticker can land there. It does not recognise who anyone is, we never store it, and we never use it for advertising or profiling.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
The one thing that leaves your device: feedback you send
If you use "Contact us" inside the App, we receive the message you write, a picture of the card exactly as you decorated it (your message included), and basic version info (App version, iOS version). Sending feedback is optional and always your choice, and we receive no name, account, or device identifier with it.
What we do with it. We read feedback to reply to you, fix bugs, and decide what to build next. That is all. We never use it for advertising, and we never sell it or pass it to anyone else.
Why we are allowed to. You chose to send it. That choice is the only permission we rely on, and you can take it back at any time by asking us to delete your message.
Where it goes. Our feedback inbox is run for us by another company, so your message may sit on their servers outside your country. They see the internet address your phone connects from, the way any website you open does; we never receive it. They are held to the same promises we make on this page: your message is not theirs to sell, to advertise with, or to use for anything but delivering it to us.
How long we keep it. Only as long as we need it to answer you and improve the App, and never longer than 12 months. Want yours gone sooner? Email us with roughly when you sent it and we will delete it, no questions asked.
Sticker packs you share
Sticker packs travel directly from your device to the person you share them with, using the sharing method you pick (such as AirDrop or a messenger). We never receive or store them.
What we do not do
- No accounts, no logins, no analytics tools, no advertising or tracking tools, no servers of our own.
- Apple may provide us aggregated, anonymized App Store statistics based on your device settings. These identify no one.
Your rights
Feedback is the only thing of yours we ever hold, so these rights all point at the same place. You can ask what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will take care of it within 30 days, free of charge.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, or Brazil and you think we have handled your data badly, you can also complain to your country's data protection authority directly. You do not have to come to us first.
Children
Yarr is rated 4+ and is fine for all ages. We never ask anyone how old they are, and the only thing that can reach us is feedback someone types and sends on purpose. If you are a parent and think your child sent us a message, email us and we will delete it straight away.
What deleting the App removes
Your recorded sounds, your stickers, and your settings go away when you delete the App. Photos and videos are different: they live in your photo library, so they stay until you delete them yourself. Feedback you already sent stays in our inbox until it ages out or you ask us to delete it.
Changes
If we ever change how any of this works, we will update the date at the top and list what changed at the bottom of this page.
