Facepop ("the App", "we") is made by weuse, a sole proprietorship in the Republic of Korea. Short version: nothing you make in this app ever reaches us. No account, no ads, no tracking, and no servers of ours.
What we collect
Nothing. The App has no sign-in, no analytics, and no way to send us anything from inside it. If you want to reach us, you email us yourself, and then we only have what you chose to write.
What stays on your device
- Camera is used only to show the viewfinder and take photos. Nothing is uploaded.
- Photo Library is used only to save what you shoot and, when you choose, to pick a picture to turn into a sticker. We do not scan or upload your library.
- Face detection runs entirely on your device. It works out where a face sits in the frame so a sticker can land there. It does not recognise who anyone is, we never store it, and we never use it for advertising or profiling.
- Stickers you make and your settings live in the App's own storage on your device.
- Purchases are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Sticker packs you share
Sticker packs travel directly from your device to the person you share them with, using the method you pick, such as AirDrop or a messenger. We never receive or store them.
What changed from the previous version
Earlier versions of Facepop showed ads, which meant an advertising SDK collected data on this app's behalf. That SDK is gone. This version has no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party analytics of any kind.
What we do not do
- No accounts, no logins, no analytics tools, no advertising or tracking tools, no servers of our own.
- Apple may provide us aggregated, anonymized App Store statistics based on your device settings. These identify no one.
Your rights
We hold nothing of yours, so there is nothing for us to show, correct, or delete. If you email us and later want that message gone, say so and we will delete it, free of charge, within 30 days.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, or Brazil and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to your country's data protection authority directly. You do not have to come to us first.
Children
Facepop is rated 4+ and is fine for all ages. We never ask anyone how old they are, and nothing from inside the App reaches us.
What deleting the App removes
Your stickers and settings go away when you delete the App. Photos are different: they live in your photo library, so they stay until you delete them yourself.
Changes
If we ever change how any of this works, we will update the date at the top and list what changed at the bottom of this page.
