Is it really free? The camera, the Classic pack, and the Emoji pack are free. One purchase unlocks the rest for good. It is not a subscription.
Where did the ads go? They are gone. This version has no advertising and no tracking.
Some stickers I used are missing. Four meme stickers were removed because we do not hold the rights to them. Everything else came across, and the packs have grown.
Do my photos go anywhere? No. There is no account and no server of ours. Photos and stickers stay on your device. The privacy policy has the details.
Why does the shutter make a sound? Facepop uses the full camera engine so your photos keep the quality your phone is capable of. Where local rules require a shutter sound, such as Korea and Japan, the system plays it and apps cannot turn it off.
How do I restore a purchase? Open the menu and tap restore. It comes back on a new device as long as you use the same Apple Account.
What is the watermark? Photos made on the free plan carry a small Facepop mark at the bottom. Going Pro removes it.
Someone sent me a sticker pack. Now what? Tap the file you received. Facepop opens with a preview, and adding it drops the stickers into your tray. Receiving and using them is free.
Can I make my own stickers? Yes, with Pro. Menu > Make a sticker, then pick a photo and choose a shape.
