It missed my highlighter. Shoot the page flat, with light coming from the side you are not blocking. A shadow across the page is what most often hides a mark. If the app finds nothing, you can still tap any sentence to pick it.
It picked the wrong words. Drag either end of the selection to stretch it, or tap Fix text on the card screen and correct it by hand.
My paragraph is too long for one card. Tap Split into several under the card. The paragraph is cut at sentence endings, and the cards share one source line.
Where did my card go? Cards are saved to your photo library and kept in the app's shelf, grouped by book.
Is it free? Yes. Cards and videos are unlimited, with a small Hitosuji watermark in the corner of each card. Only handwriting conversion is capped, at three a day. A subscription removes that watermark or puts a short line of your own there.
How do I cancel? Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your device, or apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
I subscribed but it is not showing. Open Settings in the app and tap Restore purchases.
Do my photos go anywhere? No. Reading the page happens on your phone. The only thing that leaves it is the text you type to look up a book. See the privacy policy.
